We went here for breakfast and we're not disappointed. One large and one traditional breakfast, two coffees. Really good value for money and good quality products. Staff were really friendly and welcoming. Definitely would recommend and would return if back in the area. Thank you to the lovely staff for getting the food our before the big group of 14 arrived

Travelling from Australia by chance we were in this town and googled a good place to eat. Not disappointed. Beautiful staff and so homely to sit here and relax. Great scampi,a treat we don't get back home. Great coffee. So good we returned the next day to taste that beautiful homemade coffee and walnut cake. All cakes made by owner. Wish we could visit here more often. The lady who owns the buisness is a beautiful person,so kind to the locals and elderly. Loved listening to the welsh language spoken by the locals.

Having been to nearby Zip World i was looking for somewhere nearby for a family hot chocolate/cake/coffee stop. Found The Old Tannery via a quick Google map search and thought it looked worth a visit from the photos and reviews. I was so impressed i felt compelled to write my own glowing review. Walking in we were given such a warm greeting by the lady behind the counter. She was especially kind and engaging with my children, offering my son the largest slice of cake he had been eyeing up from the second we walked in. We ordered three hot chocolates, a flat white, three slices of school cake (delicious) and a chocolate chip cookie. When the drinks were brought to the table, the lady mentioned that she had made the one for my son (5) cooler than the others and she also gave us a small jug of extra hot chocolate to top up our mugs. The coffee was of high quality as well. Overall this is a lovely, cozy cafe. I thoroughly recommend a visit to The Old Tannery

"Best breakfast I've ever had" The coffee was the best coffee I've ever had too! Lovely little cafe, with really friendly staff that went above and beyond and a nice atmosphere. The size, quality and price is great, highly recommend! Pre-warning, it does get busy but just shows how great it is!

We did the sunrise at Snowdon today for a charity climb. Initially we thought to eat somewhere closer at Pete's Eats near the railway station but due to a very rude, abomination of a lady with blonde wavy hair, we dicded to begin our trip home and stop on the way somewhere. A quick google got me this place, I called to speak to Mandy asking if we would be ok to turn up and seat 5. Mandy was very pleasant, warm and accomodating telling me the nice things they had to eat too. On arrival I didn't even have to tell her we spoke on the phone, she knew it was me. All members of staff were very helpful, I was worried that when our faces came through the door the sentiment might change, BUT I couldn't have been further from this assumption. The food was made with real effort, the chicken burgers were hot, filling and stacked, not to forget the 'proper fries'. The gammon was also ordered in our party and was a real special cut of meat and perfectly cooked so the tenderness and moisture was really nice and juicy. Great portions and Mandy has definitely won our repeat custom and will highly recommend to anyone who ventures over there. Thanks Mandy to you and your staff - oh and the parking was a bonus! Highly recommend this place.
